I get so irritated when people write messages for the world to see and they start out by saying "pretty" or "beautiful". So what, everyone else is ugly? Usually it's the girls that already know that. What about the rest (of us)? I think pretty and beautiful and amazing are words everyone needs to hear. Not just the girls that already know it.
